Origins & Foundations
From design and innovation to teaching, research, and the study of body and mind.
Preface
Aryanmehr’s professional path began with design and creation and, over more than two decades, expanded from design and project management into business development, research, teaching, and direct work with the body and mind.
What is pursued today as an educational and research path is not the result of a sudden change, but of a continuity of experiences across different fields that have gradually converged toward a common direction.
The Beginning: Design & Creation
His professional work began in 2001 with design, communications, and digital media, and gradually expanded into design management, branding, project management, and the leadership of specialized teams.
The formal establishment of ARYANMEHR Rhaga in 2011 marked an important point in this trajectory. The organization’s work encompassed design management, brand and business development, technology, interactive media, and cultural and artistic projects.
During this period, design gradually became more than the production of a defined outcome. It evolved into a way of observing, understanding problems, creating connections, and developing solutions.
Expansion: Research & Interdisciplinary Thinking
Alongside his professional work, interdisciplinary projects and studies developed across fields such as urban design, public art, human environments, technology, and media.
Working across different disciplines revealed the importance of seeing connections between seemingly separate questions and moving beyond single-dimensional approaches. This perspective later became an integral part of his work in the study and teaching of body and mind.
Intellectual Path & Interdisciplinary Studies
Alongside his professional career, Aryanmehr has pursued continuous, independent study in philosophy, mythology, linguistics, religious studies, and the intellectual traditions of the East since his early twenties.
Over the years, these studies have developed alongside formal training in Taijiquan, Qigong, Yoga, and Ayurveda, gradually providing a broader framework for understanding the relationships between body, mind, culture, meaning, and human experience.
Within Indian studies, his studies have included Sanskrit, the Mahabharata, the Ramayana, ancient Indian studies, and Indian intellectual traditions and texts. His studies of mythology have likewise extended into areas such as myth and healing and comparative mythology.
Alongside these formal studies, independent inquiry into contemporary philosophy, Eastern philosophy, mythology, language, and religion has remained an ongoing part of his path. It has never been confined to a single discipline, but continues to expand through new questions and connections.
Art as a Context
Another significant part of this background comes from more than two decades of professional work in direct connection with art and diverse creative practices.
Design, art, media, culture, communication, and creative projects have not simply been professional fields within this trajectory. They have provided an ongoing encounter with different ways of creating, perceiving, and expressing.
Through the convergence of these experiences, the professional path has gradually moved toward a sustained and evolving approach in which teaching, research, art, the body, and study are not separate domains, but different ways of seeing and understanding.
The Shift: From Design to Teaching
In 2016, the establishment of a studio and the beginning of teaching marked a new stage in this path.
Years of practice and study in Taijiquan, Qigong, Yoga, and traditions of body and mind moved from the realm of personal experience into teaching. Working directly with people created an opportunity to observe, test, and continually refine the way these practices were taught.
In the years that followed, Taijiquan training developed within the YMAA framework under the guidance of Master Arash Rezaei, and continued through formal training with Grandmaster Dr. Yang, Jwing-Ming. At the same time, his work in Yoga expanded through the Viniyoga tradition, Yoga Therapy, and studies of Ayurveda.
Consolidation: YMAA Iran & International Work
From around 2021, his educational and organizational work with YMAA entered a new stage, bringing the role of Director and Official Representative of YMAA in Iran alongside his international activities.
His years of experience in design, management, and organizational development subsequently became part of his work in developing educational structures, international collaborations, and strategic planning within YMAA.
Today, this path continues on two interconnected levels: teaching and research in Iran, and participation in the international development of YMAA.
Foundations
The foundation of this path rests on the understanding that knowledge does not arise through theoretical study alone, while direct experience, without an adequate framework and understanding, remains incomplete.
For this reason, the approach is grounded in the relationship between study, practice, and observation: study provides context and principles; practice transforms knowledge into experience; and observation allows for a more precise understanding of what unfolds through practice and everyday life.
Traditional systems serve as sources for preserving and transmitting knowledge, while contemporary research provides a means to question, compare, and re-examine them.
Vision
The vision of this path is to develop an educational and research space in which body, movement, mind, experience, and ways of living are studied in relation to one another.
The focus is not on transmitting information or teaching a collection of movements, but on creating the conditions for deeper learning, more precise observation, and a more conscious relationship with the body, mind, and life.
This path continues to evolve while remaining rooted in traditional knowledge, grounded in practical experience, and open to emerging research in fields such as cognitive sciences, embodied learning, and the study of humans and culture.
It began with design, continued through teaching, and today unfolds through the relationship between experience, research, and living.

I have rarely met a person with deep knowledge, awareness and wisdom of "Aryanmehr", one who has deep control over his own mind and soul and others as well. an intuitive person whose studies on philosophy and mythology has expanded his knowledge in other subjects. He is flexible and at the same time does not reflect ugliness, he is up-to-date and knows how to meet people with different level of energy and consciousness, and all of these allows him to have a great impact on others.
